A woman must undergo her menstrual circle every month except maybe when she is already menopausal. As uncomfortable as the monthly menstrual flow is, some have to undergo cramps during this period. Some females are usually scared when this time of month comes. Below are some of the things you can do to alleviate menstrual cramp:
Use a heating pad:
Apply heat. Heat helps to relax the contracting muscles in your uterus, which is the cause for your pain.A safe way to go is a heating pad or hot water bottle, which is an easy and effective way to minimize muscle spasms.
Drink some tea:
Drink chamomile tea. Tea with peppermint oil may also help. It is advisable to start sipping the tea a week or so before you expect your period.
More green veggies:
You tend to get magnesium, calcium, and so many other micronutrients from dark green vegetables. These nutrients are good for helping with muscle contractions.
Orgasm: Having an orgasm has been noted to relieve cramps.
Try some muscle easing supplements such as, calcium and magnesium supplements for the whole month.
However, do not self medicate. Please do consult your doctor before taking any supplements.
