Drink some tea:
Drink chamomile tea. Tea with peppermint oil may also help. It is advisable to start sipping the tea  a week or so before you expect your period.
More green veggies:
You tend to get magnesium, calcium, and so many other micronutrients from dark green vegetables.  These nutrients are good for helping with muscle contractions.
Orgasm: Having an orgasm has been noted to relieve cramps.
